Terms and Conditions for RowMaster

1. Introduction

Welcome to RowMaster. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the RowMaster website and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.

2. Definitions

  • "RowMaster", "we", "us", or "our" refers to Myceron s.r.o.
  • "You" or "User" refers to any individual or legal entity accessing or using the Services.
  • "Services" refers to the digital rowing training tools, subscriptions, AI-generated training plans, race strategies, and related functionality provided via rowmaster.ai.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services. If you are under 16, you may only use the Services with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

4. Use of the Services

You agree to:

  • Use the Services only for lawful purposes
  • Provide accurate and complete information when required
  • Not misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services
  • Not use the Services in a way that infringes the rights of others

We reserve the right to restrict or suspend access if these Terms are violated.

5. User Accounts

Certain features require you to create an account.

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activities occurring under your account

You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

6. Subscriptions, Payments, and Refunds

6.1 Fees and Payments

Fees for paid Services are displayed on the website and must be paid in advance unless otherwise stated. Prices may change, but changes will not affect already purchased subscriptions.

Payments are processed via third-party payment providers. We do not store full payment card details.

6.2 Refund Policy

If you purchase a subscription and do not create a training plan, you may cancel and request a full refund within ten (10) days of purchase.

Once a training plan has been created, refunds are generally excluded, unless required by mandatory consumer protection laws.

7. Nature of the Services

RowMaster provides digital rowing training tools, including AI-generated training plans, session tracking, and race strategy generation.

  • All training plans, session recommendations, performance estimates, and race strategies are informational and illustrative only
  • They do not constitute professional coaching, medical, sports science, or legal advice
  • You remain responsible for verifying that any training plan or activity is appropriate for your health, fitness level, and local safety regulations

8. Intellectual Property

All content, software, training algorithms, and materials provided by RowMaster are protected by intellectual property laws.

  • You retain ownership of content you upload
  • You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to process and display your content solely for providing the Services
  • You may use generated training plans for personal or internal purposes
  • Redistribution or resale of the Services or underlying software is prohibited unless expressly agreed

9. Email Communications

9.1 Service-Related Emails

By using the Services, you agree that we may send you service-related emails that are necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations. These include:

  • Account confirmations
  • Password resets
  • Purchase receipts and invoices
  • Security notifications
  • Important service or policy updates
  • Customer support communications

These emails do not require marketing consent and cannot be opted out of while you maintain an account.

10. Cookies and Analytics

RowMaster uses cookies as described in the Privacy Policy.

  • Essential cookies are always used to ensure the Services function correctly
  • Analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics) are used only if you choose "Allow all cookies" via the cookie banner

12. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by using the account deletion function in your profile.

  • your use poses a legal, security, or operational risk

Termination does not affect rights or obligations that by their nature should survive termination.

13. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available."

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We disclaim all warranties, express or implied
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our liability for paid Services is limited to the amount paid by you in the preceding 12 months

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable consumer protection laws.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Slovakia, excluding conflict-of-law rules.

The competent courts of Slovakia shall have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

15. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when published on the website. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Translations

Translations of these Terms are provided for convenience only. In case of discrepancies, the English version prevails.
